Sonic Adventure

If you ask anyone who has played Sonic Adventure, they will tell you the game is unbelievable. That's what I thought, and everyone that I showed it to said. I knew Dreamcast was powerful, but of all the games I own, this one really pushes the power. In fact one person said: "This is better than any PC that I've ever seen!" And he's a computer-nut. Now, I have had some questions about if it is difficult playing a pure Japanese game. It can be hard at times, but you can spend time finding the things you need to do which makes it more fun. From what I can tell the voice acting is good. Sega of America has been known to choose crappy actors for their voices. My only hope is the break the habit just for this game. Come on Sega! Please . . .!

Now another thing that amazed me, was how many polygons they used. They used tons. I can't believe Dreamcast's power. And the thing that makes me think, is this is first generation games. I wonder what later generation games looks like.

Ok, enough talk, let's get to the review.

Graphics: 10
What else could I give Sonic Adventure. I can't even explain how good the graphics are by just writing it. You'll have to see it. Just wait a couple more months and you'll be blown away, just as I have.

Sound: 10
The sound is incredible. As I said before, play it loud, or not at all. Actually the sound is good both ways. Some of the themes for the characters can be quite annoying and lame, but Sega wanted to have the game show much variety.

Control: 9
Only minor problems with the control. For example the camera gets stuck a lot, and only being able to use the analog kind of sucks. Oh well, what can you do about it?

Fun: 10
This is the funnest game I own, and I have about 8 games. I like games like Sonic Adventure so that's also a reason why the grade is pretty high. Everyone will like it, Sega has a load of different things you have to do in the game, like fishing, racing, hot/cold, speed, running away, and shooting things.

Overall: 10, 10, 9, 10: 39/40
